IASPA Annual Conference 2025

• Dates: January 30–31, 2025

• Overview: Hosted by the Illinois Association of School Personnel Administrators (IASPA), this one-and-a-half-day conference is designed to provide high-quality learning for school human resources leaders and staff. It’s an excellent opportunity for HR directors, superintendents, principals, and other educational professionals to enhance their leadership skills and HR knowledge.

ISHA 2025 Annual Convention

• Dates: February 6–7, 2025
• Location: Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL
• Spotter Team Members Attending: Dawn Callahan Dennis, Derek Carroll, Janelle Malisheski, Jessica Rabban, Rhonda Gumbel-Thomas
• Overview: The Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) is hosting its 65th Annual Convention, offering high-quality continuing education and exceptional networking opportunities for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and students. The convention will feature live, in-person sessions covering a variety of topics relevant to the field.
• Bonus – Attend Dr. Dawn Callahan Dennis’s Resume Writing Bootcamp: Research suggests the average employer will look at a resume for no more than 6-9 seconds. This session will be held by Spotter’s own Dawn Callahan Dennis, Ed.D. CCC-SLP. You will have opportunity to review your resume as we work through each section, making it powerful and standout from all the rest. We will review the sections of a resume, the information needed, and how to organize it in a meaningful and effective way.

ILOTA 8th Annual Student Conclave

• Overview: The Illinois Occupational Therapy Association (ILOTA) is hosting its 8th Annual Student Conclave, a one-day, in-person event tailored for OT and OTA students. The program includes sessions like “Prepping for the NBCOT® National Certification Exam” and “How to Market your Experience on the Job Hunt,” along with breakout sessions, resume reviews, and professional headshot opportunities.
