Self Contained – Special Education Teacher

Qualifications: LBS1, PEL, experience preferred. 

Hours: 8:00am – 3:30 pm, 38 paid hours per week

Compensation: $52 and up, depending on experience.

Position details: Therapeutic day school setting. High school, 9th through 12th grade classroom. Caseload diagnoses range from OHI (primarily ADHD), severe anxiety, depression, SLD, and ED. No life skills and no intensive needs students. No AAC devices. Students receive academic instruction on traditional subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Students participate in group counseling and individual counseling based on their IEPs.
