Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Hybrid – Part-Time or Full-Time)
Location: Lake County, IL
Employment Type: Contract (Remainder of 2025–2026 School Year)
Pay Range: $55–$70/hour (CFs considered)
Hours: 20 hours/week (0.5 FTE); two openings available – full-time coverage possible

Skills for Day One Success

  • Cultural and linguistic competence when working with diverse student populations

  • Strong understanding of speech and language assessment and intervention

  • Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

What to Expect on Your First Day

  • Meet the administrative and support staff

  • Review current student caseload and IEPs

  • Introduction to families and colleagues

  • Orientation to the hybrid work model and scheduling flexibility


A Typical Day or Week

  • Serve approximately 15–20 K–5 students through 1:1 and small group therapy sessions

  • Provide both virtual and in-person support, depending on student needs and scheduling

  • Conduct evaluations, write and update IEPs, and communicate progress with families and teams

  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special educators, and related service providers
