Spotter Staffing is partnering with a district to find an experienced and compassionate Educational Diagnostician for the 2025–2026 school year. This district is a growing and student-centered district in Denton County, known for its supportive leadership, collaborative culture, and commitment to academic excellence for all learners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations in accordance with IDEA, Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines, and district policies.

  • Participate as a key member of the ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) committee, interpreting evaluation data and supporting eligibility determinations.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to develop and support individualized education programs (IEPs).

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and compliance records.

  • Support campus teams in the implementation of intervention strategies and behavior support plans.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on special education laws and best practices.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or related field.

  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.

  • Knowledge of TEA compliance standards, evaluation tools, and ARD processes.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.

  • Prior experience in school-based assessment and ARD participation preferred.

Hours: 2-3 days per week…TBD

Compensation: 45-52 dollars per hour (based on experience)
