Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Elementary School (Leave Coverage)
Elementary school in Wylie, TX is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide full-time coverage for a leave from December through March 2026. This position serves elementary-age students in a supportive, collaborative school environment focused on communication growth and student success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking hands-on experience with mentorship support in a Texas school setting.
Full-time, Monday–Friday – 40 hours per week
December – March 2026 (4-month assignment)
On-site at Wylie, Texas
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with communication disorders including articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with IDEA and Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom environment.
Maintain documentation, progress reports, and data collection aligned with district and state standards.
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide input regarding communication needs and goals.
Support inclusive practices by consulting with general and special education staff.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid Texas SLP License or eligible for temporary licensure.
Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply—supervision will be provided.
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

$47/hour and up depending on experience
