Full-Time Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
Location: Dallas, TX — High-Performing School District
Campus: Intermediate/Middle School (Grades 5–8)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM (37.5 hours/week)

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, self-motivated Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to join a collaborative and high-achieving school district in the Dallas area. This role serves students in grades 5th through 8th on an intermediate/middle school campus. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, professional flexibility, and a team-first mindset to support both students and staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and psychological services as outlined in students’ IEPs
  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Perform risk and threat assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with ARD committees and school staff to develop and implement effective student support plans
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and compliance records

Qualifications

  • Current Texas licensure as an LSSP (required)
  • Experience providing school-based assessments, counseling, and crisis support preferred
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team-driven environment
