Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Elementary School

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services to elementary students. This role focuses on supporting students’ communication needs through evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with campus teams. The ideal candidate is student-centered, organized, and committed to serving in a school-based setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals and district procedures.

  • Conduct assessments, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring.

  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings by providing input, documentation, and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.

  • Maintain accurate service logs, documentation, and reports as required by the district and state guidelines.

  • Use evidence-based practices to deliver direct therapy, consultative services, and classroom support.

  • Support campus teams with RTI/MTSS recommendations when appropriate.

  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families while maintaining professionalism and compliance with school policies.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility).

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but CFs are welcome depending on supervision availability.

  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and Texas education guidelines.

Hours: 40 hours per week 

Compensation: 49-55 dollar per hour (based on experience) and unlimited bonus potential.
