Now Hiring: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF)
Location: School District – Melissa, TX
Start Date: January 5, 2026 (full-time replacement for retiring SLP)

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team beginning in January. This is a full-time, in-person role serving our brand-new Middle School campus (grades 7–8) and High School. We welcome SLP Clinical Fellows graduating in December—CF supervision is fully provided by an outstanding supervisor.


Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

  • Setting: On-site only (virtual not considered)

  • Caseload: ~63 students

  • Service Minutes:

  • 815 minutes of direct therapy

  • 638 minutes per 9 weeks of consultation

  • Consultation Focus:  (consultation does not involve therapy)

  • Observation and collaboration with teachers and parents

  • Primarily related to feeding and AAC needs

  • Strong support available from district AAC Team Lead

  • Meetings:

  • Monthly SLP department meetings

  • Optional training meetings every other week

  • Licensure:
    Must hold a Texas SLP license (or be eligible as an SLP-CF starting in January)
