This school serves students in grades 6–8 and is known for its supportive, student-centered environment. Staff work closely together to support student success both academically and functionally.
Spotter is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support a small caseload of 7–10 students. The workload is just beyond what can reasonably be completed in one day per week, which is why this role is structured as a two-day position. This is an ideal opportunity for an OT looking for meaningful school-based work with a manageable caseload and strong work-life balance.
Provide occupational therapy services aligned with student IEPs
Support students through direct services, consultation, and collaboration
Conduct evaluations and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Participate in meetings as needed during scheduled workdays
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently within a school setting
Short-term contract: January 6 through May 22
Low caseload: 7–10 students
Predictable schedule: Two consistent school days per week
Supportive school environment with collaborative staff
