Position Overview

Spotter is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support a small caseload of 7–10 students. The workload is just beyond what can reasonably be completed in one day per week, which is why this role is structured as a two-day position. This is an ideal opportunity for an OT looking for meaningful school-based work with a manageable caseload and strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services aligned with student IEPs

• Support students through direct services, consultation, and collaboration

• Conduct evaluations and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Participate in meetings as needed during scheduled workdays

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)

• School-based experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently within a school setting
