Spotter is working with an ISD who is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to support evaluation and ARD services at the a High School 9th Grade Campus. This position serves a larger secondary caseload and requires strong organizational and compliance skills. While full-time, in-person coverage is preferred, the district may consider part-time or shared staffing solutions based on availability and budget constraints.
Estimated Caseload (Full-Time): 70–75 students
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday
Caseload will be adjusted if coverage is part-time.
Conduct psychoeducational and special education evaluations
Develop and complete REED documentation
Lead and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
Ensure all evaluation timelines and compliance requirements are met
Collaborate with campus administrators, teachers, and special education staff
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
Contracted role with 18 weeks of anticipated coverage
The ISD is operating within a limited budget and prioritizing essential service.
Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
High school or secondary experience strongly preferred
In-depth understanding of ARD procedures and compliance
Strong communication and time-management skills
All contracted staff must:
Complete pre-employment affidavits
Submit to a background check
Complete district and agency onboarding prior to service delivery
Compensation: 48-55 dollars per hour (based on experience) and uncapped bonus opportunities.
