Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:40 AM – 2:50 PM
Duration: Remainder of the current school year with the option to continue into next school year
Pay: $48–$55 per hour
We are seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to support K–2 students in a district near the Wisconsin border. This role is ideal for an educator who can step in day one, confidently deliver IEP services, collaborate with classroom teachers, and provide structured, engaging instruction to elementary-aged students.

Deliver specialized instruction to K–2 students through push-in and pull-out resource services
Independently implement IEPs from day one, including goals, accommodations, and service minutes
Run effective small-group instruction and integrate smoothly into general education classrooms
Monitor, document, and report student progress using data-driven practices
Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
Adapt instructional materials to meet individual learning needs
Maintain compliant and organized special education documentation
Communicate professionally with families and school teams
This role requires an educator who can immediately:
Execute IEPs with confidence, no ramp-up time needed
Deliver small-group instruction and support students within general education classrooms
Collaborate and communicate effectively with school staff to align schedules, expectations, and services
School orientation and introductions to staff and service providers
Review of student caseloads, schedules, and IEPs
Classroom walk-throughs and planning time
Immediate instructional support with ongoing Spotter guidance
Work directly with elementary-aged students and fulfill your passion for early learning and development

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement
Experience working with K–2 students preferred
