Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) – School Based

Location: Wylie, TX
Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join a highly supportive and desirable school district in Wylie, Texas. This role offers a balanced caseload, thoughtful scheduling, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative special education team across three closely located campuses.

The OT will support:

  • 1 Elementary School

  • 1 Intermediate School

  • 1 Junior High School

All three campuses are within an 8-minute drive of one another, allowing for efficient travel and continuity of care.

Caseload & Service Delivery

  • Total Caseload: 55 students

    • 33 Direct Service Students

    • 22 Indirect/Consult Students

Services are thoughtfully scheduled, with a mix of direct therapy and consultative support to classroom teams and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based occupational therapy services to support student access, participation, and functional independence

  • Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support as outlined in IEPs

  • Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers

  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings as appropriate

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

  • Support students across developmental levels in elementary through junior high settings

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Current Texas OT license

  • School-based experience preferred but not required

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to manage a multi-campus schedule efficiently
