Position Overview

Spotter Staffing is seeking a Bilingual School Social Worker (Spanish/English) to support a vibrant K–8 charter school community located in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. This is an on-site, school-based position serving a diverse student population in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about student mental health, culturally responsive practice, and partnering closely with educators and families to drive student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group counseling services

• Conduct social-emotional assessments and contribute to IEP development

• Deliver direct and consultative services aligned with IEP goals

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Participate in MTSS and problem-solving teams

• Support crisis intervention and behavioral planning

• Maintain compliance with state and school documentation requirements

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement required

• Bilingual Spanish/English required

• Experience working with K–8 students preferred

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Commitment to equity and culturally responsive practice
