Spotter Staffing is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support approximately 35–40 elementary students (grades 3–5) in a small, community-oriented district.
The caseload includes a mix of self-contained and general education students, providing a well-rounded service model with meaningful collaboration.
Provide direct speech-language therapy services (individual and small group).
Implement IEP goals focused on articulation, language, social communication, and pragmatic skills.
Document session notes and service minutes.
Collaborate informally with classroom teachers and special education staff.
Adjust therapy plans based on student progress and needs.
Support students within both pull-out and push-in service models.
Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports.
Conduct speech-language evaluations and write evaluation reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Consult with parents and staff regarding student progress.
Manage caseload scheduling and service tracking.
Order or request therapy materials as needed (district currently has grant funding available for resources).
Supportive Leadership: The Special Education Director is a former School Social Worker who understands related services and advocates for appropriate resources.
Access to Materials: Grant funding allows therapists to purchase necessary tools and therapy materials.

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.
