Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM (Full-Time)
Pay: Up to $70/hour
Start Date: Early–Mid March (Position can continue through the 2026–2027 school year)


Position Overview

Spotter Staffing is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support approximately 35–40 elementary students (grades 3–5) in a small, community-oriented district.

The caseload includes a mix of self-contained and general education students, providing a well-rounded service model with meaningful collaboration.


What You’ll Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services (individual and small group).

  • Implement IEP goals focused on articulation, language, social communication, and pragmatic skills.

  • Document session notes and service minutes.

  • Collaborate informally with classroom teachers and special education staff.

  • Adjust therapy plans based on student progress and needs.

  • Support students within both pull-out and push-in service models.

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports.

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and write evaluation reports.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.

  • Consult with parents and staff regarding student progress.

  • Manage caseload scheduling and service tracking.

  • Order or request therapy materials as needed (district currently has grant funding available for resources).

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.

  • CCC-SLP preferred (CF candidates may be considered).

  • School-based experience preferred.

  • Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
