Pay: $50–$60 per hour
Schedule: 7:30am – 3:00pm (35 paid hours/week)

We are seeking a High School Social Worker to support a caseload of approximately 35 students. Students require support in coping skills, social skills, empathy development, emotional regulation, and problem-solving. The caseload includes a mix of IEP and 504 students.
This position reports directly to the Principal with a direct line to the Special Education Director. The school environment is highly supportive, collaborative, and team-oriented. Strong case managers are in place.
Direct Student Support
Provide individual counseling sessions
Facilitate small group social skills instruction
Support students with emotional regulation and coping strategies
Conduct regular check-ins for higher-need students
Monitor and document progress toward social/emotional goals
IEP & 504 Responsibilities
Deliver IEP service minutes as written
Track data and progress on IEP goals
Participate in IEP and 504 meetings
Support implementation of accommodations
Collaborate with case managers and staff
Crisis Management
Respond to student emotional crises
Conduct risk assessments and safety planning
Coordinate with administration and families
Follow mandated reporting requirements when necessary
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with teachers to address behavioral and emotional needs
Communicate with parents regarding student progress
Participate in problem-solving and support team meetings
Strong administrative support

Licensed School Social Worker
Experience in high school settings preferred
