Special Education Teacher (5th Grade Resource)
Pay: $50–$55 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Spotter Staffing is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to support 5th grade students in a welcoming, community-focused elementary school district. This role involves working with a small caseload of seven students who need academic support primarily in ELA and Math.
The position follows a push-in / pull-out service model, allowing the teacher to work directly within the classroom as well as in small groups or individually. The school has a supportive team environment, and relationships among staff, students, and families are highly valued.
There are no significant behavioral needs within the caseload. The focus of this role is providing academic support, building student confidence, and helping students access grade-level curriculum.
Provide special education support for 5th grade students with IEPs in ELA and Math
Deliver services through a push-in / pull-out model, including small groups and individual instruction
Implement IEP goals and accommodations to help students access the general education curriculum
Collaborate closely with general education teachers, case managers, and related service staff
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet individual learning needs
Maintain clear and organized documentation and communication with the school team
Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
This assignment begins in March and runs through the end of the school year. There is potential for the role to continue into the next school year, and candidates will also have opportunities to continue working with Spotter Staffing on future placements.
