Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Fox Lake Area
Schedule: Full-time | 26/27 School Year
Caseload: 25–30 students
Pay: Up to $75 per hour

Role Overview
This position serves a split caseload of early childhood and middle school students, all high-functioning and primarily needing support in:
- Articulation
- Expressive/Receptive Language
- Basic AAC usage
- 3 days/week: Early Childhood (dedicated office space)
- 2 days/week: Middle School (shared office space)
- Buildings are 5 minutes apart (same street)
All services are pull-out, with additional opportunity to push into Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms to proactively support early development and reduce long-term caseload needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals
- Manage a caseload of 25–30 students
- Conduct evaluations and write IEPs
- Collaborate with parents and staff (highly supportive community)
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Proactively support early learners through classroom push-in
- Utilize tools like Embrace for documentation and service tracking
First Week Experience
You’ll start 5 days before students arrive to:
- Get trained on systems (including Embrace)
- Review IEP structures and expectations
- Learn district processes and key contacts
- Build relationships with leadership and staff
- Get fully organized before day one

Qualifications
- Illinois SLP License (or eligibility)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) – CF supervision provided by Spotter
- Experience in school-based settings preferred but not required

- Ability to think creatively and independently
