Occupational Therapist – Full-Time
Location: Streamwood, IL
Immediate start through ESY and upcoming 2026-27 school year
Staff Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Therapeutic Day School seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join a highly supportive K-8 setting for students with Autism, developmental delays, communication needs, and significant cognitive disabilities. Position Details

• Full-Time, In-Person
• Weekly PD/Planning Time
• Supportive onboarding and collaborative leadership team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services through push-in and pull-out support
• Support sensory regulation, functional skills, AAC access, and student independence
• Collaborate with special education teams and classroom staff
• Participate in IEP development and progress monitoring

Qualifications

• Active Illinois OT license required
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience with Autism, AAC devices, and sensory integration strongly preferred
