This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role working with students who require more individualized, behavioral, and emotional support than traditional school environments provide.

You’ll work with a small caseload (approximately 12 students, K–12) in a setting designed for students with:

  • Emotional Disabilities (ED) – requiring strong relationship-building and regulation support
  • Other Health Impairments (OHI) – including ADHD and related challenges impacting communication and focus
  • Autism (limited cases) – primarily higher-functioning students needing social communication support

These students benefit most from consistent, face-to-face support, structure, and therapists who can adapt in real time.

  • Collaborate closely with special education staff and multidisciplinary team
  • Document services and progress using Embrace IEP system
  • Adjust to ESY attendance variability (not all students attend consistently)
