Occupational Therapist Full-Time – FMLA Coverage 
Caseload: Early Childhood Resource and Self-Contained 
Dates: September 9, 2026 through January 8, 2027

A highly respected Special Education cooperative in Northern Illinois is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join their team for an a leave coverage. This cooperative supports students with diverse learning and developmental needs, offering a collaborative and well-supported environment for therapists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy service minutes aligned with student IEP goals
  • Collaborate with EC play-based assessment team for EC resource and self-contained classrooms. 
  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determination meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and professional learning opportunities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license and registration through IDFPR
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required. Pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential
