Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time

Location: Terrell, TX
Campus: Elementary School (K–5)
Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (4-day week) with occasional Fridays
Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM (40 hours/week)
Start Date: July 29, 2026
End Date: May 21, 2027


Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a highly supportive school district in Terrell, TX. This position is based on one elementary campus, offering consistency, strong team support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with students throughout the school year.


Caseload & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students (K–5)

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed

  • Lead and participate in ARD meetings in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

  • Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress

Qualifications

  • Active Texas SLP license

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs may be considered depending on support available)

  • School-based experience preferred, but not required

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
