Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time

Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (4-day week) with occasional Fridays
Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM (40 hours/week)
Start Date: July 29, 2026
End Date: May 21, 2027
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a highly supportive school district in Terrell, TX. This position is based on one elementary campus, offering consistency, strong team support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with students throughout the school year.
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students (K–5)
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
Lead and participate in ARD meetings in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
Highly supportive campus and district leadership
Strong collaboration among special education staff and related service providers
Structured systems in place for documentation and service tracking
Positive, team-oriented culture with consistent campus placement
Active Texas SLP license
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs may be considered depending on support available)
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Flexible – able to adapt to student and campus needs
Excellent communicator – works effectively with staff, students, and families
Team-oriented – values collaboration and contributing to a strong school culture
Single campus placement for consistency and relationship building
4-day work week with predictable scheduling
Supportive leadership and strong special education team
