Occupational Therapist (OT) – 2026–2027 School Year
Location: Glen Ellyn, IL
Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) – Single Building
Pay: $48 and up
Hours: Approximately 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM 

The position is structured as:
0.8 FTE – Early Childhood
0.2 FTE – Elementary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals
  • Support students across both early childhood and elementary programs
  • Deliver services using a combination of push-in and pull-out models
  • Collaborate with teachers, behavior teams, and related service providers
  • Contribute to sensory regulation strategies and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Complete IEP documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Student Population
  • Primarily students with moderate needs, with some programming approaching moderate-to-severe

The Occupational Therapist will play a key role in:

  • Sensory integration and regulation support
  • Enhancing functional participation in the classroom environment
  • Supporting and implementing behavior intervention strategies in collaboration with the team
  • Promoting independence and access to the learning environment

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience working with:
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Students with communication and behavioral needs
  • Ability to be proactive and solution-focused
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
