This is about as manageable as a school-based caseload gets.
You’ll work with 20–25 high-functioning students who are part of general education classrooms, all within one building—no bouncing between sites, no overloaded schedule. It’s structured, predictable, and easy to step into.
The School + Setting
You’ll be working in an elementary school within a tight-knit suburban district in Lake County.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support 20–25 elementary students in general education classrooms who receive pull-out services such as :
– Articulation
– Language development
– Comprehension
Your Role
– Deliver structured therapy sessions
– Follow treatment plans created by the supervising SLP
– Track student progress
– Collaborate with teachers
Support
You’ll be supported by a dedicated Spotter SLP who builds the plan, guides your approach, and helps problem-solve.
You get autonomy without being left on your own.
What You Need
– Active Illinois SLPA license
– Ability to implement therapy plans
– Strong organization and communication
– Comfort working with elementary students
