Special Education Teacher – Self-Contained Elementary Classroom
Spotter Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for a self-contained 3rd and 4th grade classroom during the 2026–2027 school year. This classroom serves approximately 10 students who primarily demonstrate lower academic functioning and higher life skill needs within a supportive, structured learning environment.
Many of the students require consistent repetition, modified curriculum, functional academic support, and hands-on instruction throughout the school day. While academic levels are significantly below grade level, behavioral concerns within the classroom are minimal, allowing the teacher to focus heavily on instruction, relationship-building, communication, and student growth.
This position is supported by a highly experienced special education team that includes two strong special education teachers within the building, an on-site school psychologist, and a principal who previously worked both as a classroom teacher and district administrator. The building values collaboration, support, and practical problem-solving.
