Position Overview
Spotter Staffing is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a confidential partner educational program serving students with diverse communication needs. This role supports individuals with a wide range of abilities, including mild to significant developmental, cognitive, behavioral, and communication challenges.
The SLP will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver speech-language services that improve functional communication, social engagement, and academic participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, OTs, PTs, psychologists, and behavior staff
- Provide staff coaching on communication strategies and language facilitation
- Collect and maintain accurate data for progress monitoring and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student regulation, behavior, and readiness to learn
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based populations
- Comfort working with students with complex communication needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills

- Background in special education settings or therapeutic school environments
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and multiple disabilities
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Ability to work across multiple teams or classroom settings
