Compensation: Up to $60/hour
Schedule: School Hours | Full-Time

Spotter Staffing is partnering with a specialized educational co-op in the northwest suburbs seeking a passionate and student-centered LBS1 Special Education Teacher to join their team for the upcoming school year.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly supportive, collaborative environment focused on helping students with diverse learning and behavioral needs build independence, confidence, and life skills. The exact student age group is flexible and can be aligned with a candidate’s background and experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
  • Create a structured, supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, related service providers, and families
  • Support students academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally
  • Implement differentiated instruction and behavior support strategies
  • Track progress and maintain IEP documentation/compliance
  • Foster student growth, independence, and self-confidence

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • LBS1 Endorsement required
  • Experience in special education settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to build relationships and remain calm, flexible, and student-focused
