Educational Diagnostician

Qualifications for Educational Diagnostician candidates include:

• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
• Master’s Degree in Educational Assessment, Special Education, or related field
• Strong understanding of IDEA, TEA regulations, and special education eligibility requirements
• Experience conducting special education evaluations preferred
• Strong written communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Hours for Educational Diagnostician:

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday during standard school hours
• 2026–2027 School Year

Compensation for Educational Diagnostician:

• $48–$54 per hour based on experience
• Uncapped bonus potential

Educational Diagnostician position details:

• School-based setting
• Elementary, middle school, and/or high school opportunities available
• Conduct initial evaluations, reevaluations, and eligibility determinations
• Participate in ARD meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Support students across a variety of disability categories
• Collaborative district special education team and administrative support
