Position Overview

Spotter Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (LBS1) for a full-time school-based opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates may choose to work with one of the following grade-level groups based on their experience and preference:

• K–2
• 2–5
• 5–8

This is an inclusion-focused position that includes both push-in and pull-out services, allowing you to collaborate closely with general education staff while providing direct support to students with individualized learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver special education services through push-in and pull-out support models.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Maintain compliant special education documentation and progress monitoring.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• LBS1 Endorsement Required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred
