High School Special Education Teacher (Life Skills)

Qualifications for Special Education Teacher candidates include:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
• Experience teaching students with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Passion for helping students develop independence and transition skills

Hours for Special Education Teacher:

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday during standard school hours
• 2026–2027 School Year

Compensation for Special Education Teacher:

• $48–$54 per hour based on experience
• Uncapped bonus potential

Special Education Teacher position details:
