Qualifications for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) candidates include:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license through TDLR
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited SLPA program
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Passion for helping students develop effective communication skills

Hours for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA):

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday during standard school hours
  • 2026–2027 School Year

Compensation for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA):

  • $34–$40 per hour based on experience
  • Uncapped bonus potential

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position details:

  • Full-time school-based assignment
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
