Qualifications for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) candidates include:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license through TDLR
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited SLPA program
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Passion for helping students develop effective communication skills
Hours for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA):
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday during standard school hours
- 2026–2027 School Year
Compensation for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA):
- $34–$40 per hour based on experience
- Uncapped bonus potential
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position details:
- Full-time school-based assignment
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication goals
