Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based special education team and provide high-quality speech and language services to students.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working directly with students while collaborating with teachers, families, administrators, and other related service professionals. The SLP will play an important role in helping students develop the communication skills they need to participate successfully in school and beyond.
Position Responsibilities
As an SLP, you will:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
- Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services according to students' IEPs
- Develop measurable and individualized speech-language goals
- Monitor and document student progress
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Communicate with parents and families regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate service logs, evaluation documentation, and required records
- Follow IDEA, TEA, and district requirements for special education services
- Participate in professional development and district meetings
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Valid Texas SLP license through TDLR
Preferred:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience
