Position Overview

Spotter Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at a school located on the South Side of Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with students and families from diverse backgrounds and wants to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students
• Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide bilingual speech-language therapy in English and Spanish
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with required timelines
• Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking students and families
• Support students across a variety of speech, language, and communication needs

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Illinois SLP licensure/Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Fluency in Spanish and English required
• Ability to conduct bilingual assessments and provide services in both languages
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for working with children and supporting student success
