Staff Hours: 7:15 AM – 3:00 PM (7 hrs 45 min, 30-min lunch) | Students in session 7:30–2:25
IEP Caseload: 30 students | MTSS Caseload: 0
Start Date: Immediate

Position Summary
Spotter Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a middle school, serving students across General Education (co-taught) and Self-Contained (Strategy Education & SNAP) programs. Caseload includes approximately 30 students in grades 6–8, 17 of whom are in self-contained classrooms. A second OT is scheduled part-time in the building.

Caseload Detail

• Self-contained students: seen ~30–60 min/week
• Gen ed students on caseload: seen ~20–30 min/week
• Additional 10 students: 5 min/week consultation to staff
• Some students receive consultation via 504 plan (no direct minutes)
• 8 students currently due for 3-year re-evaluation

Extra Duties

• 1 off-campus placement student, 180 minutes/month at Easterseals, 8301 Mitchell Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Illinois OT license
• Middle school / school-based experience preferred
