Spotter Staffing is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Paraprofessional to support a 3rd-grade student at a school in the Buffalo Grove area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with students and wants to make a meaningful impact in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a 3rd-grade student throughout the school day

• Assist the student with academic, behavioral, social, and classroom needs

• Help the student remain engaged and successful in the classroom

• Reinforce directions, classroom expectations, and individualized strategies

• Collaborate with the classroom teacher, special education staff, and other school personnel

• Support the student during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities as needed

• Maintain a positive, patient, and supportive relationship with the student

• Follow school and student-specific protocols and recommendations

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, students, or individuals with disabilities preferred
  Educator License with Stipulations endorsed for Paraprofessional (ELS-Paraprofessional

• Paraprofessional or special education experience is a plus

• Patient, dependable, and compassionate approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations

• High school diploma or equivalent required
