Spotter Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Learner (EL) Teacher to join a high-performing charter school in Chicago. Responsibilities

• Provide English language instruction and support to multilingual learners

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with student language-development needs

• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and school leadership

• Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills

• Maintain accurate student records and documentation

• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff

• Create an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois teaching license with appropriate EL/ESL endorsement

• Bachelor's degree required

• Previous experience working with English Learners or multilingual students preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs

• Passion for helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed
